not a z4 thing, but i guess its will be as popular as in israel.
well, the police was actually following this guy for weeks after getting pictures from seed cam of a white carrera 4s going in 250 kph (155mph), but the license was blancked (due to reflectors). we have only 15 white carreras 4s in israel so they found him.
in the video they follow him in day time not managing to "lock" the speed with the "bee radar" (a radar that collect speed inside the police car).
the fun part in the video starts when the nights fall (minute 3:55 in the video) i know you probably dont understand hebrew so i will translate the fun part starting at minute 4:51
police car- "avi, 130, 140, 150" (km/h)
control- "let him do more" "lock the speed!"
police car- "lock 156, 170, 180"
control- "all units, take him down"
police car- "200, i recorded 200" (in that poin tyou can see the speed on the police monitor) "give me my position, i recorded 200"
control- "do what ever neccery for taking him of the road!"
police car- "eye contact." " just give me my position" "there is a police car in the other side, he is slowing down, taking him down"
than you can hear the police horn and he says "stop, police"
than they discover his 3 kids were in the car.. any way, they took the car for 30 days and took him for investigation. he says "its not reasonable that i did 200", police officer says "ok".
any way he will be fine he is a multi milioner (carrera 4s= 350,000$ here) and have good laweyrs.
there is alot of discation about that in israel.. how right it was to do it and so.
the z4 connection-
like 2 days after while i was standing in the stop light, sadenly came a police car and blocked the all road infront of me, after a little checking that car is not stolen, he just said "go slower ok" and went away. i guess they are hungry for white fast cars
