Video - Front near side suspension rattle

Hi all - I’m getting a front near side rattle when I’m light on the brakes and also going over rough terrain. It sounds like a piece of plastic rattling around as the suspension travels up and down.

When light on the brakes, there is a fair bit of vibration through the steering wheel. However when depressed harder, this goes away.

The car recently had the wheels refurbed to get rid of a few buckles (including front near side).

I’ve just had the front tyres just changed, which I thought would fix the issue, but has made it far worse. I’ve had the wheels double checked for balancing and they are fine. The (tyre) garage couldn’t see any immediate issues with the suspension or bushes.

The previous tyres had quite a lot of cupping in the inside edge.

Any ideas what the suspect could be? If not will take it into garage, but thought I’d run it past you lot first.

Edit: previous owner had Lollipop bushes, front ARB bushes, shocks, track rod ends and front drop links replaced at 75000 miles. Car is now on 104,000.
 
I guess you'd need to start with the wheel off and physically check everything is secured. Shake it all and see if you can make the same rattle, especially things like the ABS sensor cables, brake flexi hoses etc. Then look at the top mount and make sure there's no splits in the rubber.
Make sure there's no parts of the arch liner or other plastic bits catching.
Are the brake anti-rattle springs in place properly.
Are the strut braces bolted up really tight.

Thanks mate will give this a check.

Further info is that if I brake firmly without holding the wheel, the car pulls a little to the left but then suddenly to the right. In general, it pulls a little to the left so perhaps alignment is out.

Vibration through the wheel is pretty strong when lightly braking though. I feel like something suspension related due to uneven wear from the previously buckled wheels.

Will investigate and come back to you ref top mounts etc
