Hi all I’ve been having these issues since I bought the car a few weeks ago, it’s a 2006 3.0i with only 53k miles on it, every time I’m stopped and idling in drive or reverse I hear vibration noises from the engine bay and feel it through the car. It only happens after the car is warm and when idling in D or R, but surprisingly turning on the AC removes all issues around this probably due to more load on the engine. I thought at first it was mounts but upon testing and getting the symptoms to appear, the engine is solid in place and doesn’t shift or move at all like I’d assume bad mounts would do. Just curious what else it could be, the rpm’s don’t dip or rise it’s a steady idle, just has vibrations felt throughout the car. Any advice or help would be amazing. I’ve already ordered new engine and transmission mounts just to be proactive along with Vanos Solenoids which I’ve also figured do need replaced because of other symptoms.
