Can anyone advise on the reason for vibration noise and feel through the clutch pedal when it is fully depressed.
Gear change works fine.
No noise when foot off the clutch.
No noise when half - three quarters way down and clutch has disengaged drive, e.g. you can change gear without having to dress the pedal fully.
Seems to happen after car has driven for over 10 minutes.

Plan to take it into the dealer as still under warranty just would like your views before I book it in.

2009 model 23 sdrive. 39500 miles.

Thanks.

Clutch thrust bearing on its way out?

An update on my first post.
Last week i took the car to Stratstone Derby. They had a mechanic ( 6ft +!) join me on a test drive. The noise took a while to appear but he did hear it and diagnosed the release bearing.
Car was booked in for 5 hours to drop the gearbox and inspect and replace the release bearing, all under warranty.
Went in on Tuesday morning and got a call at 3 in the afternoon.
Turns out they found the dual mass flywheel had excessive movement which means the flexible material joining the 2 parts is failing.
They took advice from BMW and replaced the flywheel, the clutch and the release bearing all under warranty.
They needed to keep the car into Wednesday so provided me with an X1 with 6 miles on the clock for 24 hrs (I always enjoy a try at something different)
Picked the car up Wednesday afternoon fixed and valeted. The noise has gone and I'm a happy customer.
I know the BMW dealers come in for some justifiable stick at times but I wanted to say that, on this occasion, Stratstone Derby done a great job. They diagnosed the problem, done the work in a reasonable timeframe and perhaps more importantly treated me as a valued customer at all times. I would certainly recommend them as a dealer to use and would not hesitate to buy another AUC from them.

Finally, I know any number of parts can fail for any number of reasons on these complex machines. Its worth knowing that mine failed at the 5 year point with 37K on the clock. I guess its one of the older higher miles examples but still a fairly major part to fail so soon.
Keep a check for any vibration noises at full travel on the clutch. :driving:
