Really, despite the non matching part numbers?
I'll wait for someone else to prove it
photographic evidence:
I've had them on for about 2,5 years now I think?
The big advantage is that they reduce the pendulum effect of the engine.
As you can see in the picture the engine sits pretty much above the motormounts. So you have basically a big blob of metal sitting on top of a rubber base.
When the car makes abrupt movements from one side to the other (like with a chicane, or when coming out of a drift and the rear grips suddenly again), these mounts reduce the engine rocking from one side to the other resulting in more stability. You get some added NVH, mostly you can feel the engine idling a bit by vibrations travelling through the center tunnel (you can feel it a bit with your leg resting against that). That's what I noticed anyway (but may vary from engine to engine obviously).
I tried to reduce that pendulum effect even more by swapping out the transmissionmounts by generic bobbins/vibration mounts (where I live they're called type A vibration mounts: type A is with studs on both side.
I used m8 threaded mounts 40mm wide, 30mm height.
They are smaller (narrower) than the stock transmission mounts, but the rubber is harder, so there is quite a difference in overall stiffness.
If I recall correctly the stiffness of the rubber on the new mounts was Shore 55A-60A. Sometimes you can specify what stiffness you want.
If I had to guess the stiffness of the original mounts, it would be about shore 40A (but I dont have a durometer, so I havent checked)
These mounts arent under much load (most load is carried by the enginemounts, the engine balances pretty much on that point). If I had to guess the gearbox presses (at the location of the gearbox mounts) with about 15kg. It's more to reduce that pendulum effect because there is a lot of mass above it (and mass=inertia)
original vs. new:
I mounted them with an m8 metal ring inbetween as the original mounts were about 2mm higher. But for the rest it's very straight foreward:

This was a very very cheap&easy mod as these vibration mounts were less than £2,- each from a local webshop....
This is similar to the rogue transmission mounts (but a lot cheaper, especially considering the ususal ridiculous shipping costs from the US)
