VF Superchargers in UK

Think the kits look immense

Possibly less reliable than ess however....
Do we have any long term (mileage, not age) data on either install in a Z4M.

I know Byron has had his installed for a while now, but it's not exactly a daily driver/high usage vehicle :poke:

I keep finding myself tempted by the supercharger route, but then I realise I would probably never be able to insure it (reasonably) as a daily/business driver.

EAS installed one of these kits on their shop car.... they subsequently sold the kit as it wasn't usable on the track... it kept going into limp mode.... take a detailed read and they actually answer the question directly, they have run both kits now so are really able to give an unbiased review, even more so they have nothing to gain as they retail both kits!!

the ess 500 kit has now been renamed the 525.. still runs 7-8lbs of boost.....

it may not be a DD but let me tell you.... i sprint that thing ALL day in 25 Deg C heat and its never missed a beat, it really gets a proper workout on its sprint outings.... The car has never failed to deliver anything but huges smiles, BY far the best money ive spent in my car lifeline, id love an m3 GTS and do it all over again :-) ... (touch wood) its a tractable to drive as a stock car.... in boost its imo probably a step to far for such a small car as traction is an issue.....

STOP IT!

I'm having enough trouble talking myself out of it as it is :P

need to call evolve to see if they can do z4m ... and then start saving ;)

Beedub, the kit looks fantastic, I like the fact about the midrange torque ... definately top of my list...

i think all of them are great really in the end...... would love to see another uk blown z4m..... in reality???? cant see it happening to be honest!!!

i really like the ess setup, ex- coleague had it in his m3... it was veeery fast... my choice would be under 500 bhp and ess aren't intercooled... and to get it intercooled you would have to increase boost ... as you mentioned earlier ... ;)

called evolve about g-power... they only do e92 ... :x
sent email to g-power, but no reply. .. maybe i will have to dust my sprechen sie deutsch ...
closest authorised g-power seller is in belgium ...
