I think we would need to know more on the condition service history of the unit, before any one could offer a sensible answer. Could be you fitted it a week ago, or may have been on the car for 100k miles.

Some more info,as said.
Have always hankered after a supercharger (albeit the ess 1).

Pictures of its condition now,and if there has been any damage, minor or otherwise, as result of your car being written off, etc.
Hopefully you were ok in whatever (accident) caused your m to be written off.

Also, what other necessary components are being sold with it,and what else would be needed,if any,to be bought to complete an installation of it,
And what it cost you/ what you're realistically expecting to get for it?
Also,what kit,bhp and use,mileage,etc as mentioned,has it had?
Thanks

Normally I'd welcome you to the forum Christopher, but in the circumstances I can only offer my commiserations and hope that you are OK.

But as others have said some history of the 'charger, it's condition, what other components may be needed to fit it and some photos would help no end.

Then I'd suggest posting an advert in the "Buy And Sell - Z4 Related Goods" section of the forum as that might get the best audience, but forum rules require adverts to have a price.

Hi Christopher.

I'd be interested. Shoot me a message on WhatsApp 00447428254442

Starting to wonder if this is for real,as no response from genuine points and questions raised by myself and others.
I have noted interest, but still no information on what they expect to get for it/what value they put on it,what mileage, use etc(road or regular track),etc etc

You could be right mate. Not sure what the gain would be for it to be fake though

No,me either, but lack ofr response is odd,if they genuinely want to sell it?
I am interested,at the right price, depending on what it comes with, how many miles are on it,and what use its had, asit may have done alot of hard track use, which isn't ideal?
We will await a reply

If a scammer fishing for a gullible buyer who doesn't ask questions before parting with their hard earned, then they choose the wrong forum. If genuine then hopefully they will be back in touch.

Thats true lol. If real there will be a lot of interest!

It may be coincidence, but it's just possible this is related to this thread:- https://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=129279&p=1838178&hilit=bad+times#p1838178

After all not too many Ms made their way to the UK. In which case the OP deserves some sympathy!

Quite possibly. The seller was called Chris! Mind you I didn't see an intake that would support a supercharger on those pics
