Very random enquiry

2015 they came out with a mk 2 version, different material used for guides an almost white colour rather than an oil coloured brown, plus different chain, much chunkier, technical term, plus new laser cut crank sprocket and a revised oil pump drive in the same style...you should be good for another 100k miles now providing you don’t overboost it with your remap...
Forget the remap, I'm more impressed with the 'rattle free' claim in his signature  . Would love to get me some of that life.

The way this was worded with the laughing face and the use of the word “claim” is an example. Basically implying I am talking s**t

A post from another user telling me to get a grip because I personally like to over maintain my vehicles.

And there is no secret to getting the vehicle rattle free. Use the information in here, set aside 2-3 days of time and think outside the box. The bolts and screws themselves create noise in the fittings, so I used a molycoat 111 product on them during assembly, along with felt, foam and tank rubber on close fitting parts. So far this has resulted in zero rattles with the roof up or down.

I think maybe you need to either chill out, consider comments more carefully before exploding, or grow another layer of skin.

If this is going to be your standard reaction to every slight hint of humour then I think you'll soon find that your threads will be rather light on replies.

If you could get your hands on a paint depth gauge you could put any body shop questions to bed.

Personally, I’d just take it for a good spin!

Thank you for explaining why you thought I was having a go at you. I used the 'rolf' smiley because I wanted to show that my post was light-hearted, I didn't realise it could be misconstrued as sarcastic. A hazard of non face to face conversations unfortunately. Thanks also for the tips on eliminating rattles, if I disassemble my interior at any stage I'll see if I can implement them.

Probably me reading too much into things also mate, but it is not the first time it has happened to myself on here, and I know other members have also had issues. Forget about it, I have already.

If you should ever pull your car apart and want any tips on the problem issues I came across just let me know. So far mine has remained rattle free. How long this will last is anybodies guess, but just over a month on and all seems well. Time will tell lol.

You call them "rattles" I call it "character" although my previous cars (Mgzt, fiat x/19, hillman imps etc) probably mean my opinion should be given a wide berth
