Very poor headlights

hello all thanks for looking just got my first z4 06 plate 2.0 soft top and love it to bits but the lights are very poor tried to put brighter bulbs in but still very bad can anyone help thanks
 
Scotty - welcome to the forum

Run a few searches as retrofit xenon, aftermarket, xenon /HID, etc has been covered many times
 
Welcome Scott, when I joined the forum I asked about my headlights and found tons of great info on here, havent done anything about them yet ha ha but I have the info for when I have the spare £££ :thumbsup:
 
Brighter bulbs and a couple of turns of the height adjusters under the bonnet will help a great deal. Just remember to turn them back for mot.

Two complete turns on mine and only ever get flashed on rare occasions

an online light specialist from memory, but might have been fleabay, really can't remember been 3 years or so
 
I use Osram Nightbreakers on my 4x4 and they are among the best high output 55w bulbs, just haven't got round to fitting any to the Zed yet, even though the halogens are piss-poor and set too low. :(
 
just to up date you all bought some new bulbs from a store in newcastle "revolution" and raised the beam up a touch and this has made all the difference thank god for my z4 as my main car was smashed into by someone reversing off next doors drive so z4 will get some hammer for a couple of weeks
 
ps hope to get some pics of my baby on here soon it does look very good and so happy with how it is going and so is the wife so less ear bashing
