Definitely. And well before your time too... Maybe too much furniture shopping with the new wife :D

Cheeky!

I have a black MR 2006 plate with nav, high-end stereo, blue-tooth phone, 6-cd player, wind-deflector, carbon-leather dash and rear parking sensors with 22,500 on the clock and 1 previous owner - I was offered £15,500 as a part-ex.

Soooo frustrating, this is basically the car the I want - minus the wood trim.

Sadly though the low mileage means its £4-5k out of my price range and it's the best part of 300 miles away from me :headbang:

I'd be prepared to travel, only so many of these cars are ever for sale at one time.

Part ex offers are not really reflective of the value of the car as dealers flatter the seller with the p ex value and add the margin on the sale. Not saying your car isnt worth that much. Could well be more or less.

Yes, I am getting that impression. I was originally trying to set a limit of ~200 miles as a max distance but it's getting more urgent for me to get a car now so it looks like I'm going to have to bite the bullet.

Good to see a fellow Teessider on here though

Good luck with the search.

I had to make 2 trips to doncaster for mine so wasnt too bad. One to view and another to pickup. All worth it though when you bring it home :D

If you are prepared to travel 200 miles then 300 is not so much further- I would be prepared to travel as there are not hundreds of good Ms for sale- and I think a lot of people with them now have settled with them because the jump to something more is considerable .

Good luck with the search - Interlagos should be one of the easier colours to find as it's the most common colour

Mines 23k miles full bmw SH, but is a nice spec and black with red leather adds £££ ;), not to mention my hardtop. Oh as close to new condition as you can get (probably)

Not sure I would part with it......... mmmmmm lol

Good ///ms are getting harder to find ... Sub 15 k mile ones even rarer... Doesn't mean Thier condition is perfect however ... We must never assume that, these cars need proper maintenance ....

Good Afternoon,

I am the new happy owner of the low mileage ZM and i can report back it is lovely and i have had many BMW's but this has to be the best condition 6 nearly 7 year old car i have ever seen. He was a older chap, in his 60's and bought it 6 months old as a BMW demo .. yes they are to blame for the wood!! It has been garaged all the time and you can tell from the lack of corrosion, dirt around the seals etc, tyres are original but not perished etc. It’s just had an inspection 1 with Sytner BMW and i am getting it checked by a specialist in my local area just to make sure the main dealer has not missed anything.

I was on this forum some time ago with a very low mileage white coupe and a black one before that, i have also had 2 z3m coupe's, a CSL and a V8 e92. previously plus many other non M cars.

I am a little gutted this Z4M has not got the upgraded HIFI but i think that’s all it is missing and the full leather more than makes up for it in my opinion, and you really do get quite a lot of leather (full doors, a pillar, centre console, rear bulkhead behind the seats etc etc). cruise control not interested in with a sports car, it has heated seats and nav.

In my opinion there is no substitute for low mileage but agree it has to be kept and serviced in the correct way. the black coupe i had was 25,000 miles and definitely felt like a second hand car, where this Z4 feels and looks brand new !!

and yes the wood will be changed .. on the hunt for some carbon structure or piano back or i will get my local body shop to rub them down and glass black them !!

I have already bought a stubby aerial again, some new wheels centres and after any interior trims if anyone wants to sell or swap them for the lovely wood!! plus a car cover and would also like a wind deflector if anyone interested in selling please.

cheers

Gareth

sewell i have the oem wind-deflector Prep parts brand new..... these arent cheap BTw but you'd need to order the oem wind delfector which is very expensive, let me know if you need the prep parts that fix to the roll hoops, prep comes with all fixtures and fitting and also the parts that lock the deflector into the boot lid.

impressive history of previous M ownership sewellzm < Welcome. obviously a very discerning owner, its all the money but who can argue with mintness and low miles, and these will be the cars that hold their value longest. enjoy the new M.
