Hi all had brake fluid change done today, thought my car was parked near a bush when i picked it up but too dark to see properly, got to my garage found 3 very light lines on side of bumper, cant feel them by fingernail, but they are now a lighter blue :( could these be polished out by hand in anyones opinion?

If you can't feel them with your fingernail then you shouldn't have a problem polishing them out. Might need machining though

I would suggest Farecla (or similarly good quality) colour restorer and a good polish afterwards. You might find it returns again over time but keeping it polished seems to help.

Have a go with Farecla Scratch Remover Liquid removes scuffs as well as minor to moderate scratches. Used with a Microfibre or Lint Free Cloth, the Scratch Remover will permanently remove scuffs and scratches on all types of paint in any colour, leaving a high gloss finish.

When you use it do not just rub the scratches go over a wider area, this will give you a smother finish then use a good wax over the area. Good luck.

I have found Meguirs Swirl X works well after a good bit of claying on the affected area, follow it up with a decent finishing polish maybe Menzerna finishing polish, If it is still badly visible, then consider machining it or paying to have it done. But I think first off I would be letting the garage who carried out the fluid change know about it, whilst they might not take responsibility they may well do something about the bush to stop some one else getting the same.
