Very crackly radio

Another odd problem has arisen with my E89, the radio crackles like mad (FM) and eventually loose most stations while i have the motor running, turn the motor off and all goes back to normal :thumbsdown: , i was wondering if they have any kind of noise suppressor fitted in the ignition like we used to fit to old style spark plugs (yes i am that old)

Yes as far as i can tell the original whip is still fitted, does this have a suppressor fitted.
