'Vert window open when roof wet

I usually have my window open when driving to work, this morning it had rained heavy, so the roof was wet, and was lightly raining still.

Water kept dropping in the car from the roof.

Anyone figured out how to stop it?

Very good, but I want the window open.

drive faster, or dry the roof beforehand..
that's the only two other options I'm afraid.
there ARE channels sewn into the roof that attempt to guide the water, but they're not perfect (and couldn't ever be due to the design and shape of the roof).

Im the same - always need a window open slightly, regardless of the weather! :)

As others have said, theres sod all you can do about it really, unless you try to get hold of one of these:

Cant find any that would fit a ragtop Z4 though!

even if you did find some to fit you need to remember to remove them every time you lower the roof otherwise you'll have a load of smashed plastic cutting holes in the fabric.

I just put my air con on if I want more air

Oh god, those are horrible. You want me to put them on a Z4?!

A few roads when I set off are 30, so I'm stuck with the speed.

I was thinking a revision or replacement for the current channels.

Personally, I would never even consider attaching something like that to my Z4 and I would definitely judge anyone that did.. But its a solution to your problem and each to their own etc! lol

As for the roof channels, is it really worth the hassle & expense.. It can't be that bad surely? I just keep a cloth in the glovebox so i can wipe any standing water off now and then..
