Is the old washer jet easy to disassemble? I’m still looking to replace mine and figure I may as well fit the whole unit pictured above to hopefully avoid future (re)failure.

Has anyone done this? Or just replace the diamond swivel section and cap?

Dunno about the whole unit but that bit i posted + diamond bit and cap just pull out, it's held in place by tension and the o-ring just

the rest of the main unit no idea not going near it

Right so I can just pull the old one out? And then it pushes back in? Just that... seems too easy?

Correct, the diamond clip just requires pushing back in place to relocate it mate. It really is an easy refit and thats also probably why the original diamond clip disconnected so easily in the first place.

I got the clip from Shapeways for about £5 plus postage and the cap from ebay, found it easiest to fit the clip on to the cover first then got a mate to activate the washer grabbed it and clipped it in, so far so good.
