Venting my Frustration

Was really looking forward to the delivery of my new (58 Plate) Z4 today, only I get a call from the BMW dealership to tell me they have found a scratch along the rear wheel arch so it has gone into the body shop to be repaired! :x

Now have to put everything on hold until Friday, only problem is that my 330D insurance was transferred as of today so the insurance company have given me three days grace - if the Z does not arrive by Friday I have no car and no insurance!!! :(

Just hope the wait is worth it - please tell me it is!! :cry:

Nevel have these smileys been so accurate of my state of mind!
 
Very much worth it.
At least you haven't had it for a while then had to part company.
I'm dying over pinging. The Z4 is creeping into me here, I almost plowed that ol rental through a corner. Tires squeeled. The Z4 would of laughed at the corner and called me a wuss for going so slow. 4 door sedans suck
 
If the dealer mess you around again demand a car until yours is ready, it's the least they can do.
 
At least they repaired the scratch and not delivered it and when you noticed it denied all knowledge.... enjoy it when it arrives.

There are so many threads on here about bad dealers, who only want your money and have forgotten about Customer Service...

I guess the glass is half empty then, vice half full..................
 
Yep - agree with the above posts - if they delay further, you should be able to get them to give you a loan car (happened to me before, they just took one of the second hand cars off display and asked me not to bend it!).

Agreed; it should be their roblem, not yours. Nicely, of course :D
 
isnt it better this way, rather than arriving to collect it and then finding out there is a scratch !...that would have to be worse wouldnt it ?
 
Great news - I am now the proud owner of the BMW Z4 in Montego Blue - have to say it looks stunning.
