Vent Out - Piece of cake!

Ta-daaaaaaaaa! Got the vent out!

I first of all threatened to leave it alone outside Liberty Night Club in Harlow........(Jeremy Clarkson pause).........on Gay Night

I got myself a large screwdriver, (2 parts vodka, 1 part OJ), and once I had downed it in one go, I went in!

Long thin screwdriver to lever the cliporis down, then a pair of very flat serated ended pliers.........I pulled on the actual cliporis to get the damn vent out.

Now, I don't know whether to just get a cable for my iPod and lose the multi CD, or whether to put in the Parrot kit (which was my original intention) for bluetooth connection to my Nokia E71, + aux to listen to Spotify + iPod connection. Choices, choices.
 
I was having a bit of a car diy morning - so i thought i'd see what all the fuss was about these vents - they are a bit of a bugger - but i got mine out within a few mins - with a little jewlers screwdriver to push the clips down.

Then proceeded to remove my headunit - for no reason - and was going to makde a start on my screen before i realised i had left the battery connected and convinced myself not to remove anything else from my car!
 
At least you are famous, anything like this will be the "Petach" approach :D
