I liked my e89, most reliable car I’ve owned & i thought the 2litre range sits in a really good price/performance band.
I got a pretty generous settlement for it (£13600)
It’s Smartbear towers that’s left me choked, at least I’m insured

Only recently saw about your flooding Rob. Gutted for you.
Water does massive damage but it can (and will) be sorted. Just takes time.
Insurance payout was VERY generous IMO.
