FWIW my car has all black after-market kidneys and I've found they look much more black after a quick treatment with Gtechniq C4 Trim Restorer.

Just looked it up on real oem for 3.0 si based on my VIN . I have heated seats but that I believe is separate .

I looked on realoem too.
If it's heated msport, the heating element is both glued to the foam for the bolsters and woven in the leather for the base.

If it's standard seats, I believe it's solely in the leather.

Do you have the bases available ? They are the Msport seats with adjustable leg . Thanks.

Do you want me to swap it over for you?
Happy to do that if you're prepared to come to Coventry.
What's the issue with your foam?

Its just feels really hard with no cushioning . Maybe something to do with the support rather than the foam base ? Hard to tell .

It's possible it's collapsed or in in the process of ad if it has, it might be sat on some seat base mechanism.
I have an msport heated foam and a standard foam. I have seat bases and a couple of options to repair or at least diagnose your firmness. Easy enough to extract the seat, inspect, disassemble, repair or replace components.
Depending on the issue, depends on the duration to rectify.
More than happy to look at it for you.
We continue tomorrow. My alarm is in 3 hrs. At 3am.

I believe the Msport have no springs supporting the seat cushion, the cushion is more a hard moulded base that can sag over time. It is a popular mod on the German forums to add the springs from the E46 or regular E85 seat bases.

Part no 52107053946 for the E85 springs, no 2 in the pic below.

I'll get some pictures of what I've got and post when I'm home at the end of the week (I work away) and we'll see what we can do for you. It's hard to apportion cost until we have accurately diagnosed what your exact issue is.
