Vapour condensing inside headlights

Had to change HIDs to normal lights and afterwards the left headlights started having water vapour condensing on the inside. Took it back and they sealed around it with silicon and dried it. next day...same story :headbang:
Any ideas?
If not how much for new headlights? (both left and right) as they are getting foggy anyway.

Too late a reply I guess - but try buying two new rear covers for the headlights - about £13 each from dealers in the UK - that cured my problem. Think the seals have just got old and are no longer sealing.

Worth trying that I'd have thought.

I've got a pair of headlight units for sale
In good condition with no misting
They are off of my 2003 e85
They just need a couple of halogen bulbs
Don't know how much they are worth plus some carriage
They can be safely packed in the box and packaging that me new lights came in
Only thing is looking at your profile you aren't in the UK

If Benben not interested in your pair of headlights, I could be IF they have chrome internals.

Hello ekinj10

If benben isn't interested maybe we could sort something out as I think he lives abroad according to his profiles flag
They are in silver and in good condition and all of the fitting lugs are in tact
They just need the halogen bulbs for the main beam but the other bulbs are still fitted
The electric adjusters work fine
We abouts are you
I could send you photos if you PM me a mobile number or email address

Thanks
