What engine do you have andy? My mate had a 1.9 CDTi and they are surprisingly quick! took it for a trip to France and 60mpg and felt very quick for the fairly low 150hp.

The 1.9s are highly tuneable from the 150bhp but Fiat engined so my preference is the 1.7Cdti which is Isuzu
My previous Astravan hit 150k with no major trouble so with little alternative ( other than paying silly money for VW Caddy or Transporter ) went for another
Wouldn't want it as a weekender but it does what i need through the week
Years ago when I worked for Pony Express there was one van driver who always had fancy alloys on his van, I m sure he always had astramax's.
His van always stood out from the crowd.
Nothing wrong in a bit of pride in whatever you drive. I would rather that than a van (or car) driver in a POS thinking they can bully folk on the road out of their way because they don't care if they hit something!
