Valvetronic EML error

So the other day the EML light came on!

took it to my local Auto Electric and they hooked it upto their machine and two codes were cleared, 2A67 (valvetronic, internal fault) and 2A6b (valve tronic power limitation)

has anyone had any experiance with these?

they have cleared the code for now but advise that it may come back on! something about the valve sticking.
 
I got this problem yesterday. I drive a 58 Reg 2.0 M Sport.

Anyone had this too? Whats the fix? How much will it set me back do you think?
