I’m replacing the valve cover gasket on my 2006 3.0si
It has the metal valve cover and utilizes the metal coated gasket (not the common rubber one).
Does this valve cover gasket require any sealant?
My guess is no, but while cleaning the mating surface of the valve cover, it seems as if there is a micro thin grey-Ish coating that I had to clean up (gently sand smooth)
And as long as I’m on the subject, what are the spark plug gaps?
