Parkers come out with just about spot on your figure for that car, mileage but it depends on exact badging. Go have a look at http://www.parkers.co.uk where oyu can key in all the extras

Spec is largely standard, although red leather is less common, blue tooth prep, memory seats and folding mirrors a bonus

Biggest thing I see missing is Sat Nav - personally a must and should reduce the price by up to £1,000

Again I don't think the time of year really makes that much difference - they just become a little quicker to sell in Summer.

No... you have to take the 2 doors, double it, subtract 10% and add 32! AJ, is that right?

35.6 doors!!!!

Well, you are quite right that the time of year will work for you powerfully in any negotiation. The dealer knows darn well that it is likely to sit on his lot until the weather gets nice, and I'm sure he wouldn't mind having the sale show up in this fiscal year.

If you make him a rediculously low offer and are absolutely prepared to walk away if he doesn't accept, you may be very surprised at how low you can get the price. The bottom line is, there is NO WAY you should need to pay anything close to regular market price this time of year.

To give you an idea, I paid 18k for a 3.0 54 plate with everything apart from sat nav... that was a year ago, and it had only done 26k

I paid £18k for my 2003 3.0i with only 18,000 miles and a hardtop ... so it sounds a bit over the top ... but it I guess it depends on the condition and how much you really, really, really want it! :driving:

i paid 17,800 for a 03 plate auto 3.0i se no sat nav,low miles,24,000 full bmwsh red leather hot seats with lifetime waranty.... abet its not a bmw life time waranty, dont know if its worth the paper its writen on but its bound to be good for something.... and the waranty was worth £500... hope that helps oh and it was just the end of summer so i wasnt getting cut any slack from the sales guy!!
