Valuation help requested

Throw some pics up & interior details for a tighter figure but right now if the car was prepped well & with decent pics & advert i don't think a ask of £10k would be too much , possibly kick off £10450 :? you can always go lower if no interest & jmo but be receptive to offers
Welcome & goodbye it would seem

4-6k is way off especially with that history.

+1 around £10.5k

Pics would help, because "decent condition for age" doesn't inspire confidence.

10-10.5k looks like dealer price.
Selling private would be a bit less.
As previously said pictures and further details would help.

Its 45k virtually 1 owner car  we,ve seen 2 forum guys pay a good bit more than that for similar cars recently ( not that we can say if this car in question is or isn't worth it as we haven't seen enough of it )
Those looking right now ( & there are a few on here ) know there a lot "poor" examples around £8500 / £9500 , either leggy , low spec , poor colour combos or just plain tat

Just echoing the above really, 10-10.5k I'd say. two more pieces of info that would be good are gearbox and wheel condition.

If you'd posted this in a few months I'd offer you 10 bags of sand tomorrow and pick it up the same day. Maybe next year I'll be back on the hunt...

I've seen quite a few in the last few weeks, all trade so far. I've only seen two that I'd be prepared to buy that were in good mechanical condition and the interior was well looked after. The reason for not parting with my cash was the first one was a very basic spec & not quite the colour I was looking for but in excellent overall condition. The second one was a low mileage (under 40k) and almost immaculate, but again wasn't quite the colour I wanted. I went to view it as I needed to compare an excellent example against the most recent Z4C's I had viewed. On hindsight I feel I should've made an offer but unfortunately it has now sold - snooze you lose!

One I saw two days ago was in superb condition inside and out but had what I believe to be a 'ticking' on start up and the gear changes between 1st & 2nd were pretty clunky. It may have been nothing but I wasn't prepared to part with my money on it.

In my opnion, many were 'over priced' (they had a large dealer premium on it). With the exception of the immaculate low mileage example all the vehicles I viewed are still on the market I believe.

The market seems fairly stagnant at the moment, maybe due to many different factors. But if anything the entry prices being advertised seem a little too optimistic initially, even with some private adverts pricing similarily to dealers.

Of course the above is only my observations (I'm in no way claiming to be an expert) and I've only monitored the market for the last 4 months or so.....

At the end of the day something is worth what another person is willing to pay for it!

Apologies for jumping on your thread OP!

I would be really interested to see the interior photos and alloys if you're happy to post.

All the best ,

Lewis

So no heated seats or nav but cruise :? If you haven't a list of options throw up last 7 numbers of your VIN & it can be checked online

Also if this is a "For Sale" post you need to put a price on it
