Are there any keen detailers out there that have VO cars ? I would be very interested in your experiences on which finishing products bring out the best in the colour.

When I get the car I will be using my stock preparation.

  • Potential clay if there's a need (hopefully not)
    CarLack AIO cleaner
    Carlack Sealent
    R222 wax

Elsewhere on the car protection will include :-

  • Wheels --- Gtechniq C5
    Leather --- Gtechniq L1
    Alacantara --- Gtechniq I1
 
I can highly recommend GTechniq products, I've used them on my RR's.

But I leave it to my Detailer to do the work, I don't let the dealership touch my car, not after they messed up the paint on my first one.

It took the Detailer two days to correct it and apply his products.

I won't be using Gtechniq on the paint. It's too hard to apply / remove and they are no better than CarLack.
 
Have decided to have it detailed and protected by GTechniq, so no further waxing / products will be required for many years.

Can't wait to see it done. :D
