Valencia Orange 28i

I,ve always fancied a late 28i Valencia Orange E89, and I found one at Sytner’s in Wolverhampton.I live in Newcastle,so once I had agreed a deal to sell my E86 3.0Si Coupe to Zachery Luke in Northampton, it was agreed that I would drive down to Northampton to deliver the car. On the way down I nipped into Sytner,s to view the E89. A deposit was placed, and now 10 days later she’s in my possession. The matching interior design is superb.E0FA7579-3DE8-45C6-9C1C-C46D11E84995.jpeg197E7E77-D852-499B-94BD-08C88132928D.jpeg

My old Coupe, loved her but she’s moved on

Many congratulations and what a stunner.

Best combo by far … but then I’m slightly biased 😊😉

Your E89 looks fantastic - that's by far my favourite colour for them!

Had the same for 7 years, but in the 35is. Best car I have ever owned and very much admired.

Enjoy

Ah Sytners Wolverhampton love em.

10 years ago when i bought my car still under warranty i took it in for them to seek out and fix knocking noise rear axle.
After half hour they gave up and said it will cost me a lot to get it investigated and suggest i get in touch with sellers at Portsmouth BMW to get fixed.
So they gave me the car back with greasy hand prints all over the beige leather and boot.
I said only just had the car few weeks.
They cleaned car.

To this day i don't know if any BMW honours warranty or just the selling dealer.

Another later occasion i was left seated for 20 odd minutes waiting as staff strolled around after the reception asked me to wait.
I got fed up waiting and left.
Said to reception good job i wasn't here to buy a car.
Quizzical look from woman on desk and pointed me out to another staff as i drove off.

I think that interior is the 'traction pack' - looks great IMHO.

How much?

Anyone wondering how the warranty works - assuming this is a BMW approved used car - any immediate glitches that should have been spotted by the inspection (lol - do they even do one?) will be handled by the selling dealership.

Anything else in the first 12 months can be handled by any BMW dealer - but they will look to blame the selling dealership if at all possible & recoup the costs from them. This happened to me, and wasn't terrible, but added a couple of days to my warranty repair for a rattly door.

After 12 months, if you get the BMW insured warranty, that is handled by any dealership.

BMW in the UK is actually dozens of seperate businesses, and they do not play nice with each other!

Yup, got it in mine too.
Actually called 'Pure Traction'. (As I'm pedantic  )

I would have thought it was something to do with an LSD, or similar, not seat coverings! :o
Who comes up with these silly names I wonder?

My daft theory is because it has half leather seats and the alcantara centre sections provide more traction to your backside.
Oh, and the orange line is to make sure you're straight in the seat. Same principle as the bit people put on steering wheels.
