So I'm really happy with my new E85 2.5Si! Aside from a bit of polishing, she doesn't want for much. However, I've noticed a buzzing noise, a bit like an electric pump. It usually stops when I dip the clutch so thought maybe it's the clutch release bearing, but it didn't sound like one.
After a little more digging under the bonnet I can hear the noise coming from under the inlet manifold, behind the alternator. See the pics below - I think this is the vacuum pump?
I was expecting to be repairing/replacing this pump but some digging on the net and I find this video;

So it could just be a change of oil filter??!! Seems odd, I don't know why, but for 7 quid I've ordered a Mann filter and we'll see if that sorts the noise out.
Has anyone else had this issue?
