Vacuum filling coolant

Does anyone have any real world experience of how big a compressor you need to do this in one hit? Google suggests ideally a six gallon tank (27 litres) but most “home” compressors seem to be 24 litres.
Or doesn’t it matter and you can just let it recharge a few times while it pulls it down? I have a six litre one already but I don’t want to get half way through and find it’s not big enough.

Hi. I used a 50l compressor to fill my n52 which takes 6.5l of coolant. Yours should be fine. The vacuum fill kit should have an "off flow" valve/lever. If your compressor runs out of puff, just switch the flow off and let it catch up. I could only ever get 5l of coolant in. Think it air locks at the water pump. Had to use a fill kit (like the pic) as the moment I ran the water pump bleed cycle it instantly emptied the expansion tank. Hope makes sense, just ask if you need any clarification

Hi, thank you. Mines the E85 so I don’t have the electric pump issue but I know they can still be difficult to bleed.

Just jack up the car and release the plastic bolt at the bottom of radiator to release the coolant dude...
