vacuum car kits

having spent nearly 50 mins cleaning the inside of the Mrs focus and 20 mins in the zed I am looking at one of these kits, we have a vax mach air which is very light but stupid small hose and no power when I put the attachment on.

the kit comes with a turbo brush which would be good for cat hair removal which gets everywhere and a bending tool for seat sides etc.

has anyone got one and are they worth the 40 quid

Well I picked one up from Comet of all places for £19, will try it at the weekend, see how good it is

I've just got a handheld Vax vacuum cleaner and I'm really impressed.

The Dyson handheld got good reviews, but I just take our Miele vacuum out to the car and it works a treat. I am thinking about a steam cleaner though...

Miele also do a "car kit", which provides a set of tools geared towards car cleaning while still having the full power of your Miele. It's effectively a long but flexible hose, a nozzle adaptor with a very long "nose", and a narrow turbo brush.

that's what the vax kit is, just not in such a fancy box, hopefully the turbo brush will get the focus seats cat hair free
