Vacum noise

Hi,
Recently started getting a vacum type noise when I blip the throttle. Also the car won't idle right. To temporarily fix I just turn car off and then back on and problem gone, till the next time. Also, when cold I get a sound thats almost like I'm dragging something, both sounds come from engine compartment. Car is a 2007 Z4 Roadster with 3.0 motor.

Check the convoluted tubes leading from the airbox to the inlet manifold. They often split or the clamps get dislodged. Ensure everything is tight, not split (hard to see) and correctly seated and sealed.
