what happened to the project of the 350 chevy into z4m, have'nt seen any posts recently, cant remember who was doing it but it was serious quality work,
 
There's a couple of guys on ZRoadster forum (Deano and Snatch) that have put V8's into their Z3MR's. I went over to have a look at one in Leeds, great conversion, the new engine is quite a bit shorter so it sits nicely back in the engine bay. One's a 7.1litre...
 
Nice to see some of the engineering on stuff like this but personally it has to be an engine from the same marque for me, kind of spoils a bmw putting a GM LS1 in there imo. THIS is more to my tastes or THIS maybe, both would be awesome to own but i'd prefer to build them myself i think, part of the fun!
