V8 Z4 Ring busting...

No leather or climate control either methinks. BMW going downmarket then? 
Is it just me, or does the V8 just sound dull?
I was discussing engines with a colleague the other day and he said he much preferred the sound of an ///M straight 6 than a V8 and listening to this I kind of agree. It just doesn't sound like a race car should, in fact it sounds like a computer game generated V8 sound. It sounds too civilised.
Now this is more like it, the few times when he does open up the engine (and only a 4 pot)

That is a good noise. Btw, did the passenger seat need cleaning afterwards??
