Awesome, my dad bought an XR4i on an A plate (A49 NAT) i think it was, brand new in black and was his pride and joy! ....
until the day i locked the keys in it as a small child, he had to smash the back side window to gain access, i then had to be threaded through to unlock the door, needless to say he wasnt happy....A few months later a woman in a mini crashed into the side of it because she reached over to grab a bottle of milk that tipped over in the passenger footwell. thats was the end of it really, but from what i remember as a child, it was an awesome machine and give me my passion for anything automotive today!
