V5 Doc question

Can someone do me a favour please.

On the V5 documents, in section 10, which is the part you normally give to the new owner, is the VIN number on it? Can someone check for me please. I think it is, but I have a pic with another piece of pater stapled to it and I can't see the first paragraph.

That's a shame, It means I need to get to the car to get the VIN number as I have lost my V5

Just the manual folder is in the boot not any other docs. I have lost my V5 after my accident and moving house (the moving house was forced on me whilst in hospital...don't ask!) and I need to replace it and change my address. Got the form, it just needs the VIN number. My friend who has my car is going to take a pic of the plate under the bonnet tomorrow

Bottom corner of the windscreen is where you want to look. Just under where your tax disc would have been.
