V10 Z4M video

I've lost count how many times I've jokingly run through the idea of this with a mate of mine... Would be a savage, savage car with that engine.

One day maybe.... (but probably not)... :(

The company carrying out the conversion have a drive-in-drive-out price of (IIRC) 48,995EUR . I imagine that would be a brand new crate engine for that money, and drivetrain. All labour etc,... That's a lot of dough. But DIY, and with a 2nd hand engine (have also seen some on eBay for around £5k) you could probably do this for around £15k plus some blood, sweat and tears....

Maybe we should try a group buy price :D

i thought you was skint, why waist £100 on new engine when you want to go piano dash :D

i do like the thought of drive in drive out option

window 1, order engine, V10 or V8
window 2, well that would have to be the workshop
window 3, pay and then drive off

better than any cheese burger

think it may not be quite as quick though

What gearbox would that be?

I assume there isn't a manual strong enough for the V10, but presumably the M5/M6 one is far too big for the Zed?

Fantastic idea though, although I often think even the Z4M with a SC would be pretty undrivable in the wrong conditions.

Paltry? Really?

the owner wasn’t content with the paltry 343 HP inline six it was packaged with from the factory

paltry –adjective
1.ridiculously or insultingly small: a paltry sum.
2.utterly worthless.
