Slightly bigger fronts and use the throttle. Should sort any under steer out nay trouble. :lol: :thumbsup:

Not exactly.

The V10 is large and heavy and will most probably sit in front of the front axle, thus affecting handling.

I would imagine going into a bend you would be presented with jostling understeer followed by snap oversteer.

Possibly so, but booting out of the appex would more than make up for it. Once the rears are spinning it should be easy enough to ride it out. If a tad expensive and smelly. :lol: :thumbsup:
 
Im not sure a v10 would sit too much forward of the front axle... arguably a v10 is one cylinder shorter than a straight 6, plus the z4 has a cavernous engine bay, so should be able to push it reasonably far back.

I volunteer to test its handling characteristics, sure its fine!
 
I don't think I'd ever get over the noise of that if I had a go with the roof down... It's always been one of my favourite sounding engines! I'm pretty sure Chris Harris was talking recently about his view on that engine coupled rarely with the manual box in the 5 series; and he suggested the engine was much better suited to the autobox (and he's very pro-manual). It looks really hard work in first and second!
 
Well that's naughty! I have a garage of bicycles and lawnmowers, but even in a garage of 10+ modern day supercars, I bet that would be a really liberating toy to turn to :)
 
Understeer, oversteer? Who cares? :fuelfire: I just want to dump the clutch and ride it out for a couple of quick gear shifts until it finally hooks up with the pavement .... then give it back to the owner and thank them. :rofl:

Oh I don't think you would have to drive it far. Just a bit of lock as you light the touch paper and that thing would simply eat it's tyres on the spot, as you enjoyed a tasty doughnut or ten. :evil: :driving: :thumbsup:
