Used prices

I randomly looked at used car prices and it seems that g29 z4 prices have gone up massively again? I assume because they have stopped production?

Prices of convertibles fluctuate throughout the year.

Spring - the prices trend up. It’s not just G29, it’s all convertibles. (More people looking to buy them)

Autumn / Winter - prices drop.

Asking prices for convertibles go up this time of year. Whether actual sale prices do, I'm not sure...

Prices have seemed to have stalled /slightly dipped... probably to do with whats going on with the conflict in Iran, the price of fuel/ energy security problems. Global EV/PHEV registrations are up 6% in April, in my street they seem to be going EV mad

As above. Most convertibles sell for a bit more at this time of year. End of production run is also going to move them up a bit.

As summer goes on convertibles get less and less, more want to buy, less sell. If you want to sell you wait until the open top driving season is over, more become available in October onwards but less buyers. Lowest prices December through March.
The G29 is a very good open top tourer, looks good, comfortable, plenty of space for full luggage, cars tend to change owners every 2 or 3 yrs as owners tire of the toy and move onto another. I plan to keep mine as long as we want to do open top touring, there isn't anything else that fits the bill for us

Because production has stopped good cars will depreciate less, mechanically they are good with very few issues showing yet
