Hi all

What would be a good price for a 2006 plate 2.5si Sport (17K miles) with the following options?
Bluetooth phone prep + telematics
BMW ConnectedDrive-Assist
Comfort package
Composite Star Spoke 108 8/8/1/2 x 18
Leather interior
Metallic paint
Navigation-system Professional
Heated front seats
Wind Deflector

I've just put down a deposit on the above car at a BMW main dealer for a purchase price of £14,300 and was wondering whether it's a good deal. Either way, I guess it's too late to change my mind, but it would be nice to know what a realistic price should be.

I've checked the what car/parkers valuation and I'm not sure I trust a figure of £15.5K dealer retail as realistic.

Thanks

It feels like a good deal, but wasn't sure... There seems to have been a massive drop in used prices in the last few months. I just sold my Audi TT that had less than 10K on the clock and know how painful it can be to sell a car these days!

Going back being a Z4 owner after a couple of years break! I'm hoping that the 2.5si Sport will be even better than the last 2.5i SE I owned a few years ago.

 only joy will be that when i come to trade in in a few years it will have leveled ot and the car i look at will hopefully be equally cheap compared to the supposed residual of mine!

My 3.0si with bluetooth, electric mem seats, 6cd changer, metallic black cost me 15.5k. So I think you have a good deal mate..sounds about fair! I've noticed the black Z4's are always priced higher than the non-blacks...if that makes sense!! :D

Happy Xmas all!

It seems I was able to change my mind after all... The 2006 silver grey 2.5si had corroded alloys and decided to go for the following 2008/08 2.5i Sport with 2,999 miles for £16,700 including 6months tax.

It's black and I would have prefered the silver grey, but it does have the 108 alloys, M sport leather seats and most importantly is only about 6months old! It would have been great to get an si model, but I think this is probably a better deal given the age of this car!

Looking forward to picking it up in a couple of weeks!

PS

I personally waited alot longer so i could get a decent deal on an si. I'm hoping they will fetch a little more because the market seems to be flooded with 2.0SE/i and your standard 2.5i sport.

Looks a really nice car though mate..pleased for ya!

Thats a good price to say how old (new) it is

I paid 16.3 for mine on a 56 with 14k, all toys except sat nav and warranty until april - back in september

so good resale still!!
