after a good few trackdays my car needed some serious TLC, which is probably what im best @ , so off came the wheels, off came a good chunk of the engine pipework, a good few hours later...... shes back to her best....

while i was their i did my usual engine/suspension tweeks, re torquing things, and generally giving the car a good check over.....

anyhow here she is... owned from a baby, now on 11600 miles, my pristine 2007 z4m Vt2-500.

s/c owners note top breather hose replaced with kevlar re-inforced braided hose, one of many tweeks to the s/c components ;-)

what REALLY blows is how much photo bucket is killing the quality on these pictures..... they really kill all the detail :-(

thankyou..... my beautiful baby boy.... cant help but smile like crazy when i see him :-) unfortunatly all he ever does is SCREAM!!!! Constantly. LOL
cant wait to take him out in the z4 when he's alittle older :-) Im already explaining to him turbos/superchargers :-) He does however enjoy coming to work with daddy, lol

Did you forget to close the bonnet, or does it no longer close properly with all the blower plumbing under there?

forgot to close the bonnet ;-) i always do when taking pics as i always plan to take some under bonnet shots..... no parts of the s/c foul the bonnet at all :-)

thanks GA41, proud of both of them, any mods in the pipeline for your car??? Have you noticed the Rpi has really matured into a really different sound from when you first got them??
 
The RPIs have definitely changed a lot. It's been almost two years and more than 10k miles after all. Not as harsh sounding as at first but they still drone like hell compared to other brands. :rofl:


Next mods is probably going to be camber plates and then a brake kit. Need to save money first!
 
U wait until he want's to drive dad's wheel's...

My son's 18, been having extra interest in the Zed & Quattro of late, just glad he's now gone to Uni...
