Dice, Dension, or the Alpine alternative to the 420i

There are also some other gadget people have mentioned on here recently.

Ah, thanks Stuart, didn't realise those guys did USB input, thought they were just iPod connection devices. Cheers!

I had a Dice unit on my old E46, and the audio quality was horrendous.

I bought a cheap aux cable on the Zed and it works great, fed through to the ashtray. I just use a cigarette lighter USB charger if I ever need to power anything.

Spent about £25 all in.

Cheap and cheerful, but works better than other more expensive solutions, I've found.

I managed to save myself the £230 BMW wanted to charge me for the supply and fit of the 3.5mm jack Aux cable. Was a little fiddly but was very easy to do and I was amazed at how much room you have to work with behind the centre console. £60 for the Aux cable and £15 for a bluetooth device off Amazon, what a great solution. Highly recommend to anyone who wants Bluetooth audio for £15. Link below worth looking at if you want bluetooth audio from your 3.5mm jack connection.
