I was browsing ebay looking for some seat covers for my car. Thinking i might get lucky and find some M sport seat covers for my seat project.

Anyway i found this listing and thought well its a shame they dont make the m sport seat covers. So contacted them asking if they could. I turns out they cant offer them as they haven't had anyone ask for them and would need an original to make patterns from. They are offering a $100 discount for the first person. Seems a cheap way of restoring or refreshing your seats. They are in Houston Texas might be worth a member getting in touch. If your more local than i am!!

The tape is just holding stuff in place while the contact adhesive went off. The aluminum supports are 1/8" plate and quite strong. Held in place with m5 lock nuts and bolts. I was planing and still might use the old covers but with new bits stitched in for the bolsters.

I have made the guy an offer on the covers Terry posted.
 
ok thanks to Terry it looks like i have done a deal on those seat covers..... Just waiting to hear back.

So my options are make the seats to fit the covers. They might not be far off now. The headrests are different so might require some work.
Use them as a patern and or make one set of covers out the 2 sets i have.

Hears how the leather covers sit on my seats at the moment. All i have done is remove a small stip of leather on the bolster.

Hi mat,

How easy it it to remove the actual seat covers? I'm thinking about buying a cover and trim set from a German company and was wondering how easy they are to remove & refit?

For the standard seats it's quite easy Terry. If you hope ahead I will help where I can.

Got the seat covers today. They look brilliant but sadly won't work for my seats :thumbsdown: so they will probably be up for sale soon.
