Tweeked under the cover and quad pipes. Keeps folk guessing. Just need a good background for the monthly comp..... :)

Go for it, there are some stunning roads to drive... But definitely go for Cannes, Nice is a filthy place, didn't like it at all, except one particular part of town around Forum Jacques Médecin.

You wouldn't in july/august Stuart :evil: From 10 miles out of St tropez its quicker to walk :headbang: i tried once with infants in the back , no air-con in car & sweltered for 2 hours then spotted a car park , steamed into it with my brain frazzled only to realise the crashing noise of metal was our bikes being ripped off the roof bars on the overhead barrier :P Oh its one we laugh about now :cry: :oops: :wink:

Well, this was taken on July 5, 2012 and no problem at all ;-)
 
I try to spend a couple of weeks on the Cote d'Azur each August as my other half is French. The traffic can be a bit grim around Monaco and heading north or south on the Autoroute du Soleil, but it's rarely as bad as a wet Monday morning on the M25...

Wow. Couldn't disagree more. I was there in May. Lovely city and one which I will return to again soon.
 
I agree with you OG, I could happily live in Nice. Cannes I can take or leave, especially in the summer months.

Ok, Ok, I get it ;-) You like Nice, I like Cannes... This way or the other, the French Cote d'Azur is a good place to be with our topless Zeds ;-)
