OK - my turn and at least some of us know how to park thank you

Avert your eyes Yal - I am one of those who never tuck in Tshirts

You don't look like an old network guy, more like one of those old school UNIX guys!

I'm learning to live with the shirt issue. I've actually logged .5 hours this weekend with the shirt not tucked in.

Actually both - I have been administering both unix and networks since 1985. I still do lots of perl scripting to extract info from our Cisco devices using SNMP so even though I am primarily an IOS jockey I still keep a hand in playing around with running a few unix servers on the side for the network group.

I can always spot of pure network guy - they use capital letters to spell unix :D

Whoa - a whole half hour off the neatness clock?!?! I'll alert the Santa Cruz media

Here is one of me (all 3 of me) taken last year when I still had my 03 Zed.

Pshop is nice - tosses out the old rulebooks on how to properly execute a triple exposure which would never allow for one component of the picture to be different in each part of the exposure and yet still have proper lighting in the end.

Like takedown8 said however - it would be nice to triplicate ourselves when it comes to detailing :D

No they can't...we tried that. Funny, Onstar can do it but BMW Assist cannot

It says right in my book that they can. Hummm

1st and foremost...it's difficult for me to reply to someone using that avatar (talk about intimidation :erm: ). But back on topic, my issue happened almost a year ago, perhaps they got enough complaints since then that they have now upgraded the service.

Hey, 155MPH, how 'bout you lock your keys in your trunk and test it out for us? :exitright:

(Robyn took the picture!)

I just saw this thread. Vroomer...you are sooooooooooooo dead. :slappy:

Ok my trunk and I have an "intimate" relationship. And I'm happy to report there have been no more instances of keys disappearing in my trunk :D (now my son holds the spare key  )

You need BMW assist, they can open the door for you remotely...

How do they do it remotely? I've heard stories about that sometimes you can push the unlock when on a cell phone...is this what you are saying 155 and have you tried it?

Not that I EVER do things like this....i just hurt myself while getting ready to go on vacation, so that my vacation is unpleasant.

Rosie....the cell phone deal is an urban legend, also it is untrue. You cannot use the cell phone to unlock a car.

thanks, that was what i was wanting to know...you're so good 20Ducks.

here's a photo of my car....to stay on topic.

Ducks, there is something attacking you in that photo. like a squid or something. Oh wait, that's your hair. My bad man.

spokey Nice to see another face! :)
