Urgently required z4 roadster 3.0si manual only

Hi Guys,

Really keen to find a well cared for lowish mileage z4 roadster 3.0si. Manual gearbox. Must meet this criteria. Not interested in the older non si or the se. Must be msport with fsh.

Anyone looking to sell or have any idea where to find one? It's been dry in the usual spots for some time. Gumtree, autotrader, eBay. Any other suggestions?

If anyone considering sale prefers to pm please do.

I have no max budget, will obviously only pay approx market rate :). Whatever is appropriate to the year, mileage, condition etc.

Got cash ready to go today. So anyone on the fence about selling let me know asap.

Add a budget to your wanted ad and ask for PM’s. Usually talks better to those people thinking of selling.

Maybe there is not much about due to lockdown. Essential travel only. Just a guess.
 
To be honest I'm shocked nobody on the forum is considering selling. Perhaps when more people see my post that may change. Oh well.
 
I've been looking for months now, nothing really comes up, autos usually, the 3lt si Sports manual seem to be like unicorns at the moment :lol:

Like what has been said, could be due to lockdown etc, although when they have come up, mainly with stealers, they want sub £9k.....

Looks like the base of the front bumper has taken a hit. Car has been listed two or three times.

Appreciate the find. However seen that. Mileage high and looks suspect. Thanks anyhow. Still hoping a forum member has one ideally.
 
I’m pretty sure that is a forum car isn’t it? Or if not definitely the Facebook Z4 owners group. Recognise the background! Can ask the owner there.

I’ve just bought a manual 3.0Si with 47k on it. They’re hard to find at the minute and when it appeared on the Facebook group, I jumped on it. Have notifications set up on Facebook marketplace, eBay and Autotrader...but the enthusiast owned cars (better looked after) will likely appear here and Facebook Z4 Owners group first.

You might recognise it because he’s had quite a few Z4’s up for sale recently, always the same location for pictures, think he might have another one up for sale just now too, if not did have last week
 
@m340 which group specifically on fb and how do you search. I just added a bunch. Not clear how you search for cars for sake or do you literally just scroll down? I've got fb marketplace notifications already. Surely someone has one in the UK for sale or wants to.

“BMW Z4 UK Owners Club” seems a good one. I think you may have just found it tho as saw the same post 😀

You can search the group for posts as well yeah, the search icon top right. But I haven’t seen a 3.0Si listed for a while. Mainly Coupes.

Patience will win out. I missed out on two that I was excited about, then mine came up in a rare colour combo and lower mileage. So perhaps meant to be!
 
How many 3.0si manual roadster owners are even on here? Surely someone must be considering sale? I may consider paying a fraction over market. But nothing silly. Depends on condition, mods (if any) spec etc.

I have since discovered the DVLA data ONLY shows post 2007 cars. So pre 2007 are mixed in with 3.0 numbers.

No, going by that database http://perso.numericable.fr/tonyz4c/index30si.html (which was compiled by a forum member) only 695 manual 3.0Si Roadsters were registered in the UK - which makes them almost as rare as MRs!
