URGENT help window regulator

I’m changing the drivers door window regulator cable and can’t get glass down to remove the screw holding it to the carrier. The glass on lock end will only go down about an inch then no more the other end is fine . I’m passed the point of no return and need some advice cheers

if you have a new regulator why not just cut the cables then the glass should move freely?

Cable was snapped anyway but finally managed to free cable from round pulleys
