Hi,
I have a z4mc and the rear vision mirror fluid has started leaking all of a sudden and managed to damage parts of my interior which I should easily be able to replace.
I managed to get the mirror off today and went to BMW for a replacement. Cost for a genuine z4m mirror $1300, versus cost for a standard (non tint) z4 mirror $600.
Can any one please tell me if I go for a standard z4 mirror will I have an issues with the central locking control which are within the mirror housing (ie error codes)? BMW where unable to give me an answer.
