Urgent Help!! 3.0 Si Fails to start!

Guys!

Went to start the Z4 tonight to go out. Car cranked once, then stalled.

Now the oil, battery, brake and EML lights are on, but the car doesn't turn over!

Any ideas? Really need the car soon too!
 
I though about that. Am awaiting breakdown people.

Usually the solenoid on the car clicks when it's a flat battery?
 
I've had a flat battery on my ///M twice in last few months as I've barely been driving her. Symptoms were exactly as you described above. When did you last use your Zed? Hope it gets sorted quickly.

Used it last week, but no idea how old the battery is?? Hopefully it's the battery, which is an easy fix. I know cars, but I have no idea about ones with all the electronics!!

Just what I need after I buy a new motorbike!!
 
When the battery went flat in mine the dash lit up like a xmas tree!

My battery is still on the original... And my battery got drained as i left the cubby open for a 2 weeks getting something out of it and the light was left on.

Battery is fine. Recovery bloke put a jump pack on it. Gave the solenoid/starter a tap and there was a clunk. Now I can here the solenoid clicking and electronic noises from the engine bay.

Looks like the starter has packed up :(
 
Starter motor I reckon. Mine did the same.

Cost 65 quid to replace it with a lucas one from eurocarparts. They took my duff one in exchange and gave me 40 quid back from the 100 quid original price.
 
Simple enough. Mines the 3.0i and we removed the airbox and pipework which took 5 minutes, then it was 3 bolts I think to undo it.

Refitting was simple enough. Ideally you need someone to hold a torch for you so you can see exactly what you're doing. It's a tight fit.
