Urgent Aero skirt fitting HELP

also.... dont forget to get the front screw nice and tight but not tight enough to damage anything.... otherwise the inner plastic fender liner flops about..... first time round i did it too loose, second time round too tight, probably cracking the plastic inside knowing my luck :-) looooooll!!! just a nice "nip" if you get me.

still no joy, taken the skirt off and re-fitted but still the same gap. I can close the gap but as soon as put the screws back in on the bottom, it comes back :headbang:

Maybe that last clip isnt engaging... Try one of the old ones maybe???

Yup... The side skirt curse!!

Bet this is starting to piss you off now :-(
The skirt musnt be positioned properly as those bottom fixings wouldnt cause the top ones to pop.... Take your time, breathe, remove and start again :-)

Ther is something obvious going on your not seeing, probably due to frustration.

take it all off and check noting is sticking out and that all of the clips are in the right position and correctly located, sounds like one is either bent the wrong way in or is getting pushed out of position when offering the skirt up.

I don't know the procedure but try starting from the door hinge end and work towards the back of the car

thanks Deka & ranski

have taken it off few times, everything seems to be in line and straight! having said that, if it was correct, there wouldn't have been a gap :headbang: if not, check with my spray shop who has fitted a few before to give me a hand, getting rather frustrated :(

Sorry, we have been told to pray for rain so I am afraid you are out of luck there :poke:

Has anyone got any photos of the car when the skirts have been removed from the car? If so, please can you upload them. I'm wanting to see what's behind the skirt?

might be some on the below thread
