Hi,

I have secured £400 for my 17" 103's with Bridgestone Runflats (all approx 4-5mm) - wheels excellent condition. AS THE PART EX

Buying 18" 108's in excellent condition (a couple of minor kerb rashes, but no laquer issues/water behind on the rim)
Fitted with Bridgestone runflats again (i dont mind that) Fronts 5-6mm Rear 4-5mm

Gotta fork out £400 cash for the deal.

DEAL OR NO DEAL?

Cheers

no deal for me you'll get them for that off ebay and keep your wheels

EDIT: I bought my rims with corrosion as i knew i was going to paint them - £180

Should give you an idea, albeit I realise yours are in better condition.

Didnt some recenlty by 4 brand new and unused 17" rims for £100 on here?

Thanks for response.

To weigh it all up though, how much did the repainting cost? And how much did you spend on the tyres to go on them? To make a total cost?

I only do 3000 miles a year, so the tread on the 108's valued at £800 in the deal, Will prob last me nearly 2 years

i got new tyres for 320 for a new set of falkens and 200 to paint i think. however you should be able to get what you want, good alloys part warn tyres for under 500 i would think

I don't really see worn tyres on 108's as valuable really, as chances are you will want rid soon if you are the kind of person that goes buying them on eBay in the first place.

I sold a set of 108's in near perfect condition with some tread on the rears and lots on the front for the £400 mark inc. shipping.

£800 is way over the top for tyres of unknown history (read dangerous) and rims that are kerbed.

following Rob's thinking you can buy a set of top condition 108's off ebay for £400 add a set of Falkens inc. fitting for £400 and then still have your old rims to sell.

Here's a pair of good looking 108's for the rear http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=130285270542 that would likely go for £200
