Urgent advice needed re wheels for sale

Hi all. I may be (reluctantly) trading in my 2010 Z4 at lunchtime due to the happy impending arrival of a small person to the family. Which set of wheels to trade in though? Dealership doesn't care. The decider is which set are more likely to sell on here and the dealer can have the other set.

Rough advice without pics (lack of time) gratefully received.

19" BMW v-spoke 296, with run flat tyres all at about 5mm tread. Couple of them are a bit scuffed from memory but no major dents.

17" BMW star-spoke 290, with run flat winter tyres all at about 5mm tread. Have been professionally sprayed eggshell black (looks awesome). Unfortunately one has been a bit scraped and touched up which can be seen but doesn't stand out at a distance/if not looking for it.

Yes I should have posted sooner, got pics, measured tread, got tyre make etc but the 'to do list' at the moment is a long one.

Just quick view - think the 19" should be more sellable / attractive to buyers?

Thanks Spikey. I wasn't sure if the bigger rims would be more attractive because they are bigger (desirable look) or the others because they get the winter tyres on the car. Great to get opinions tho. Thanks.

If the 19" were not 296's which we all know are prone to cracking I would have agreed with you all, though as it's winter and getting cold and they are 296's I say sell the 17" with winters

What did you decide to do with the wheels in the end? If the 296 19" are crack free I may be interested. Just found that 3 of my 296s are cracked....

Sorry, moving house took me away from forum following. I still have the car and both sets of wheels. Not sure if dealer cares which wheels are on the car when I trade in and I have a private offer for car with both sets of wheels but I am not sure if just easier to trade in with one set. I imagine you may have already sorted your situation?
